This project is done almost two weeks ago. As many people might know PAPO made the best dinosaur toys to date. (Yes, I mean toy neither plastic, resin, vinyl kit nor those fancy and pricey statues.) If you are a big fan of Jurassic Park movies, you might consider getting those. And among PAPO’s dinosaur series the 1/20 velociraptor is the best of best. Considering from a toy perspective this thing is almost over killed. Countless details and outstanding and realistic painting job plus a movable jaw make it even more ferocious. But from a modeling perspective there are still a couple of things which could be improved.
1. All of the teeth are molded in one which made them less sharp than they should be.
2. The movable jaw is good for a toy but not a miniature statue.
3. The eyes could be more life like.
4. The paint job on the body is still not as organic as want it to be.
This is the second model I have done since I started this modeling hobby and this is the first creature I’ve painted so far. I guess the real challenge here is how to give it a life like organic feeling. (This sounds simple but causing a lot of trouble for me lately) I have been tried a lot of different techniques on this one and quite happy with the result given that this is first time I am working on this kind of topic. So, I guess here is the result. A picture is more than thousands of words. Hope you enjoy! 
这个小品大概是两周之前完成的。这个的原型是PAPO公司出品的软胶系列玩具。夸张点说PAPO的恐龙系列几乎是市面上能找得到的最漂亮的恐龙玩具了（是玩具哦，不包括那些昂贵的数值套件和更加变态的成品雕塑）。这个系列非常精准的再现了侏罗纪公园电影里出现的主要恐龙造型，所以如果你是JP迷的话，PAPO绝对是价廉物美，居家旅行必备的收藏～～。PAPO的整个产品线中，又以这只迅猛龙的造型格外出彩，数不胜数的细节和毫不马虎的上色，都让人觉得仅仅把它作为小孩子把玩的玩具有点浪费了。。。。不过鸡蛋里挑骨头总是可以的，以下列出我对这个小玩具不满意和重点改造的地方。
1. 玩具的牙齿是整体成型的基本上就是一坨。。。。=_=! 一点都体现不出来迅猛龙的凶猛习性。
2. 可以活动的下颌本来对于可动模型来讲是件好事儿，可是最为静态模型那些缝隙就显得不真实了。
3. 其实原来玩具上眼睛的上色就很好，可是还是缺了点有生命的感觉。
4. 本来的涂装虽然出色，但是毕竟是批量生产的玩具，显得还是比较生硬没有生命感。
这个是我自打玩模型以来做的第二件东西，而且是第一次接触生物的题材。。我觉得整个过程中最具挑战的就是如何能把恐龙这种消失了几百万年的老古董的生命感表现出来。整个制作过程中，尝试了很多不同的方法，后面有时间会慢慢提到。整个制作过程少不了洗了重新上色好几遍 =_=!! 不过总的来讲还是非常愉快的也学到了不少东西～。考虑是第一次，结果我个人到也觉得还算说的过去。。。。好了，罗嗦够了上图
